Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Delivery Policy

  • Service Area: Delivery within India only.
  • Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1–7 business days, subject to inventory availability and logistics.
  • Delivery Timeline: Estimated delivery is 2–20 business days depending on destination and shipment size.
  • Delayed Delivery: If delivery does not occur within 30 days from order confirmation (unless otherwise agreed), the customer may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

2. Product Nature & Shelf Life

Our products include fertilisers, pesticides, and seeds. While these are not perishable in the ordinary sense, they carry specific shelf-life and storage requirements.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Within 24 Hours: Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided processing or shipment has not begun.
  • Before Dispatch: Refund will be issued after deducting actual payment gateway transaction charges and logistics costs, if applicable.
  • After Dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped; however, customers may refuse delivery. In such cases, actual return logistics costs may be deducted from the refund.

4. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Damaged, Defective, or Not as Described:
    • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. This does not restrict reporting of latent manufacturing defects discovered later within a reasonable time, subject to applicable law.
    • Clear photo/video proof must be provided.
    • Claims will be assessed based on submitted documentation and internal verification in accordance with applicable law.
    • If approved, pickup will be arranged within 2–5 business days.
  • Refund Processing:
    • Refunds are initiated after verification of the returned product.
    • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 6–8 business days after confirmation.
    • Actual timelines may vary depending on banking/payment partners.
  • Exchange Process:
    • Replacement dispatched within 2–7 business days after verification.
    • Subject to product availability.
  • Warranty Products: For products covered under manufacturer warranty, we will facilitate warranty claims in coordination with the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty terms shall apply.

5. Payment Methods & Refund Conditions

Partial COD (Advance + COD Balance):
  • An advance amount is payable at order confirmation.
  • If cancelled before processing or dispatch, the advance will be refunded after deducting actual transaction charges and logistics costs.
  • If the order has been processed or dispatched, the advance may be adjusted only against actual transaction charges and logistics costs incurred.
Prepaid Orders:
  • Before processing – refund after deducting actual transaction/logistics charges (if any).
  • After processing but before dispatch – refund after deducting actual transaction and logistics charges.
  • If the seller cancels or shipment fails before reaching the base delivery location – full refund without deduction.
Return Shipping Costs:
  • If return is due to defect or incorrect product – no shipping cost charged to customer.
  • If return/refusal without valid reason – actual return shipping costs may be deducted.

6. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, pandemics, or logistics disruptions.

8. Consumer Rights & Platform Role

This policy is governed by Indian law including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights. Consumers may initiate proceedings before appropriate consumer forums as permitted under law.

JTR High Yields Agro Private Limited operates as an e-commerce platform facilitating the sale of products. Product-specific liabilities remain subject to applicable manufacturer and seller responsibilities under law.

9. Limitation of Agricultural Liability

The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or crop-loss damages arising from improper storage, incorrect application, climatic conditions, soil factors, or deviation from manufacturer instructions. Customers are advised to follow product labels and manufacturer guidelines strictly.
