Syngenta Ivorywhite(Radish)

Syngenta Ivory White is a premium hybrid radish variety developed for commercial cultivation. It produces long, smooth, white roots that are uniform in shape and size, typically reaching 10–12 inches in length. The roots are crisp, tender, and stay firm even if left in the soil after maturity. This variety is well-suited for multiple seasons including Kharif, Rabi, and summer, making it versatile for different agro-climatic zones.

The crop matures in about 40–50 days, enabling quick harvesting and faster returns. It performs well under well-drained loamy soils and requires minimal post-harvest care due to its firm texture.

🔹 Cultivation Guidelines:

✅ Seed Rate:

• 400–500 grams per acre

✅ Sowing Method & Spacing:

• Direct sowing in rows

• Spacing: 30 cm (row-to-row) × 15 cm (plant-to-plant)
  or 40 cm × 10 cm depending on soil and growing conditions

✅ Field Preparation:

• 1–2 deep ploughings followed by 3–4 harrowings

• Soil should be loose, well-drained, and rich in organic matter

✅ Seed Treatment (Recommended):

• Treat seeds with fungicides like carbendazim + thiram to prevent seed-borne diseases

✅ Fertilizer Dose (per acre):

• N:P:K = 50:50:50 kg

  • Apply full dose of P & K and 50% N as basal

  • Apply remaining 50% N after 20 days of sowing

✅ Irrigation:

• Maintain adequate soil moisture, especially during germination and root formation

✅ Harvesting:

• Harvest 40–50 days after sowing

• Harvest when roots are well-developed and before they become fibrous
