Bayer Infinito

• Active ingredients:

  • Fluopicolide at 62.5 g/L (5.56% w/w)

  • Propamocarb hydrochloride at 625 g/L (55.6% w/w)

• Formulation: Suspension concentrate (SC), often labeled as Infinito 687.5 SC

• Mode of action: Fluopicolide disrupts pathogen cell structures by inhibiting spectrin-like proteins; propamocarb offers protective effect by inhibiting mycelial growth and spore formation. The combination enhances anti-resistance management and offers both curative and preventative action

   

🧑‍🌾 Recommended Crops & Target Diseases

• Potato: Controls late blight (caused by Phytophthora infestans)

• Cucumber: Controls downy mildew

• In other regions/applications, it’s also effective on lettuce, brassicas (white blister), onions, and solanaceous vegetables

🌱 Application & Dosage Guidelines

Based on Bayer India and other official sources:

• Potato (Late Blight):

  • Dosage: ~1250–1500 ml/ha (i.e. 1.25–1.5 L per ha)

  • Water mix: ~500 L/ha

  • Spray schedule: Apply at first disease signs, then repeat every 10–15 days (1–2 additional sprays)

  • Pre-harvest Interval (PHI): 19 days

• Cucumber (Downy Mildew):

  • Dosage: ~1500 ml/ha in 500 L water

  • PHI: 5 days after last spray
