JU Glunate

JU Glunate is a broad-spectrum, non-selective herbicide formulated with Glufosinate Ammonium 13.5% SL, developed by JU Agri Sciences Pvt. Ltd. It is designed for post-emergence weed control and effectively targets a variety of annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds, including Cynodon dactylon and Cyperus rotundus.

Primarily recommended for crops such as tea and cotton, JU Glunate acts by inhibiting glutamine synthetase, leading to the accumulation of ammonia in plant tissues and eventual plant death. It is ideal for use in weed management programs where glyphosate resistance is a concern.

This herbicide should be used with care, as it is non-selective, meaning it can harm crops if not applied precisely. The recommended dosage is generally around 6.6 ml per liter of water or 100–120 ml per 15-liter spray tank, depending on field conditions.

Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines are essential when handling and applying JU Glunate.
