🧪 Active Ingredient & Mode of Action

• Active Ingredient: Penflufen, 240 g/L (22.43% w/w)

• Chemical Group: SDHI (succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor), classified as Group 7 fungicide

• Mechanism: Penflufen disrupts fungal respiration by inhibiting succinate dehydrogenase, hampering energy production in the pathogen. It moves within the plant and soil to protect germinating sprouts and tubers.

🎯 Target Crop & Disease Control

• Crop: Potato

• Target Disease: Black scurf (Rhizoctonia solani) — particularly stem and stolon canker.

📋 Application Guidelines

• Formulation: Flowable concentrate for seed/furrow treatment

• Dosage: Typically 4.0 to 5.5 mL per 100 m of planting row

• Water Volume: Use 1–3 litres water per 100 m row; avoid washing off any prior seed coatings.

• Method: Apply as an in‑furrow spray—deposit a band 15–20 cm wide before or during seeding to ensure optimal soil‑root coverage.

• Withholding Period: Not required when used per label instructions.
