Dhanuka kasu-B
Kasu-B is a powerful, systemic bactericide and fungicide developed by Dhanuka Agritech Ltd, formulated to combat a wide range of bacterial and fungal diseases in crops—especially rice (paddy). It contains Kasugamycin 3% as its active ingredient.
🧪 Composition
-
Active Ingredient: Kasugamycin 3% SL (Soluble Liquid)
-
Chemical Group: Aminoglycoside antibiotic
⚙️ Mode of Action
Kasugamycin works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria and some fungi. After application, it is quickly absorbed and moves systemically within the plant, offering both protective and curative action.
It prevents the development of disease by:
-
Blocking bacterial RNA and protein synthesis
-
Penetrating plant tissue to halt the spread of infection internally
This dual action makes it particularly effective in early-stage treatment and disease suppression even after infection has occurred.
