Tata Sonic Flo

TATA Sonic Flo is a systemic and contact insecticide formulated with Fipronil 5% SC, designed for effective control of a wide range of insect pests across various crops. It belongs to the phenylpyrazole group and works by disrupting the central nervous system of insects, leading to paralysis and death. The product acts through both contact and ingestion, making it highly effective against pests that feed on or touch the plant.

Sonic Flo is widely used in crops such as rice, chilli, cotton, sugarcane, and cabbage, targeting key pests like stem borers, leaf folders, hoppers, thrips, aphids, jassids, whiteflies, and diamondback moth. It offers residual control, meaning it continues to protect the crop for several days after spraying, reducing the need for repeated applications.

The recommended dosage is 2 ml per litre of water for foliar spray. Uniform coverage of the crop, especially on the undersides of leaves, is important for maximum efficacy. When used as directed, Sonic Flo not only controls pests but also contributes to healthier, more vigorous crop growth.

It is compatible with integrated pest management (IPM) strategies and helps in managing resistance when rotated with other insecticides having different modes of action.
